South Carolina governor Nikki Haley tweeted lyrics to an Adele song today. Here's the tweet:

Rumour Has It.....Adele"People say crazy things,Just 'cause I said it, don't mean that I meant it,Just 'cause... fb.me/1o655Kjwl

Similarly, she posted the same excerpt to her Facebook page:

The meaning of this usage of social media is not entirely clear. Haley, however, will be appointing the next senator from South Carolina to replace the retiring Jim DeMint.
