We hear, over and over, that there is too much money in politics and maybe so. But the money keeps rolling in.
Elizabeth Warren raised $40 million in her recent, successful campaign to become a member of the United States Senate so that she could do good things in behalf of ordinary Americans. The $40 million may not have been a record but it was close so it would, logically, seem to qualify as "too much money." (Hard to know what is exactly the right amount of money. We are never told.)
