6:20 PM, Oct 28, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPERPresident Obama is on board Air Force One on his way to Orlando, Florida for campaign events. "[Obama] is bound for Orlando to squeeze in some campaigning before Sandy really bears down," according to the pool report.
Tomorrow, the president is scheduled to hold campaign events in Florida, and then travel to Ohio. As of now, he's scheduled to return to Washington tomorrow night.

ANDERSONThe Tampa Bay Times, the paper that puts out (and funds) the supposedly unbiased PolitiFact, has just enthusiastically endorsed President Obama for a second term. The Times writes that “[w]ithout hesitation” it “recommends Barack Obama for re-election as president.” The paper cites Obama’s “steady leadership.” It’s no wonder the Times is backing Obama.

The 60-second ad was produced by House Majority PAC, a Democratic group aligned with House minority leader Nancy Pelosi.

Of the 750 likely Florida voters polled, 51 percent support Romney and 47 percent support Obama. That's Romney's largest lead in Rasmussen's Florida polling.

Obama leads Romney by 12 points in Pennsylvania (54 percent to 42 percent), by 10 points in Ohio (53 percent to 43 percent), and by 9 points in Florida (53 percent to 44 percent). Obama also has an advantage over Romney in those states on many issues, including who would be best to handle the economy.

Read more... 1:51 PM, Jun 21, 2012 • By MICHAEL WARRENA new poll from Quinnipiac shows incumbent Democratic senator Bill Nelson of Florida maintaining a slight lead over his likely Republican challenger, Congressman Connie Mack. The poll shows Nelson with 43 percent support from registered voters in Florida, with Mack receiving 39 percent. This margin has remained mostly constant, although Mack actually had a one-point lead over Nelson in Quinnipiac's May poll of the race.
