Haley, the first-term Republican governor, is expected to make an announcement about her selection around noon in Columbia. CNN is also reporting that Scott has been selected.

Sources in South Carolina say Haley will pick Charleston-area congressman Tim Scott, and, if not him, state representative Ralph Norman is considered the next most likely candidate for the job.
