Jimmy Vielkind of PolitickerNY reports that, as voting machines are re-canvassed and election night typos corrected, Republican Jim Tedisco has now taken a 12 vote lead ... for now. Of course, the lead could change again as re-canvassing continues and 6,000 to 10,000 absentee ballots are counted. It isn't at all clear which candidate has the advantage among absentee voters.
