Republican senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts has a new TV ad out today, which will air throughout the state. In the ad, Brown sits in a booth at a diner and touts his bipartisan record in the Senate.
"I was the tie-breaking vote on Wall Street reform, led the way on a jobs bill for veterans, and helped pass a strong new ethics law for Congress," Brown says. Watch the ad below:
You'll notice what the ad doesn't mention: Brown's political party and Obamacare. Brown currently leads his main Democratic opponent, Harvard law professor Elizabeth Warren, by 0.7 points, according to the RealClearPolitics poll average. Warren has been dogged in recent weeks by her unsubstantiated claims to Native American ancestry, but the controversy may not be hurting her with Massachusetts voters in her race to unseat Brown.
