One United States senator believes that the Obama administration “has not yet done enough to earn the lasting trust of our veterans and implement real and permanent reforms at the VA.”
As reported by Catalina Camia of USA Today, Senator Kay Hagan (D. North Carolina) said this with the President is scheduled to appear today in her state (Charlotte) to deliver a speech at the American Legion’s annual conference.
Senator Hagan is, of course, in a tight race for re-election in a state with a significant military presence and a number of veterans among its population. So the senator’s shot at the unpopular president and leader of her party can be described as either “fearless” or “pandering.”
You be the judge.
