The Massachusetts Republican party has a new ad criticizing Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren for her real estate speculation practices--purchasing homes, many of which were foreclosures, and selling them for a profit. The video claims Warren was "profitting off the misery of the middle class" while later railing against real estate speculation in the wake of the 2008 housing crisis. Watch the ad below:
Yesterday, Massachusetts GOP chairman Bob Maginn penned an open letter to Warren, claiming the Harvard law professor did not fully disclose her financial transactions. "It appears that you failed to include multiple financial transactions in order to conceal business practices that seem to contradict the public image you seek to portray," Maginn wrote. "In order to rectify this situation, I call on you to amend your reports and provide a full accounting of these transactions and any other reportable financial interests you may have sought to obscure."
