Joe Biden will head down to Richmond, Virginia on Friday to give a "gun safety" roundtable discussion. The vice president will be accompanied by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius.
"On Friday, January 25, 2013, Vice President Biden, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, Deputy U.S. Attorney General Jim Cole, and other Administration officials will travel to Richmond, Virginia, to hold a roundtable discussion on the Administration’s efforts to reduce gun violence. Senator Tim Kaine and Congressman Bobby Scott will also attend. The roundtable discussion will include experts who have worked on gun safety issues in the wake of the Virginia Tech shooting," the White House press release reads.
"The Vice President and other officials will deliver remarks at the conclusion of the roundtable."
The event will take place at Virginia Commonwealth University at 11 a.m.
