Jack Davis, the "Tea Party" candidate in the upcoming NY-26 special election who has run before as a Democrat for congress, roughed up a Republican tracking him with a video camera last night. "Hey, you wanna [get] punched out?" Davis asks the tracker, who was asking Davis why he backed out of the debates. Davis then appears to smack the camera, and the tracker seems to be pushed back by a Davis associate:
A Davis associate also appears to winds up to kick the tracker, although the video doesn't show whether he got hit.
Davis is getting nearly a quarter of the vote in polling, while Republican Jane Corwin and Democrat Kathy Hochul are neck-and-neck in the low 30s.
