The leading liberal from Wisconsin, Sen. Russ Feingold, can't seem to accept the reality that the political climate continues to change in Wisconsin.
Feingold dismissed a late May Rasmussen Reports survey that showed Johnson within two points of him as a "Republican poll"
The Feingold campaign dismissed the survey [by PPP, a Democratic firm] as inconsistent with other findings, and pointed to an internal poll taken before the Sept. 14 primary. That survey showed Feingold holding a 4-point lead among likely voters, 47 percent to 43 percent.
“Kos is auto-calls on a Saturday and Sunday during the Badgers and Packers games,” Feingold senior strategist John Kraus told POLITICO. “You would have to buy a 10- to 15-point jump in a week for Johnson. It’s way off reality.”
Kind of reminds you of a certain Massachusetts Senate candidate, no? "Coakley dismissed the Rasmussen numbers when asked about the poll Tuesday night."
