A new Suffolk University poll says Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has a 7-point lead over her Republican opponent, Senator Scott Brown. According to the poll of 600 likely voters, 53 percent support Warren while 46 percent support Brown. The previous Suffolk poll, released last month, showed Warren with a 4-point lead, 48 percent to 44 percent.
The Real Clear Politics average for the Massachusetts Senate race shows Warren with a 4.5-point lead over Brown. But a Boston Globe poll released yesterday showed a small Brown lead, 45 percent to 43 percent.
