Weary of wading through the big muddy of Obamacare, the president has decided that it is time to change the subject. (They call that a “pivot,” in Washington, these days.) And as Amie Parnes at the Hill reports:
President Obama is once again turning to populism to reinvigorate what has been a lackluster second term.
This new populism consists, it seems, of fairly tepid stuff as:
… signaled by a lengthy speech by the president last week focused on income inequality that touched on raising the minimum wage and providing universal pre-K education, two issues popular with Obama’s base.
