Chelsea to Fundraise for Mom in London With Anna Wintour

Chelsea Clinton will be in London February 23 for a fundraiser for her mother, Hillary Clinton. The former (and perhaps future) first daughter will be joined by fashion icon Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue.

The fundraiser will be at the home of Natalie Massenet, who is chair of the British Fashion Council.

An invitation of the vent was posted on Hillary Clinton's campaign website:

The cost to attend the event is $2,700, the maximum contribution allowed by an individual to a campaign under federal election law.

Clinton Spokesman Says Chelsea Went Rogue

Earlier this week on the campaign trail, Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, attacked Bernie Sanders. It turns out, a Clinton spokesman told the press, the Chelsea Clinton attack was not a planned event.

Here's how Chelsea Clinton attacked her mother's Democratic rival: "Sen. Sanders wants to dismantle Obamacare, dismantle the CHIP program, dismantle Medicare, and dismantle private insurance. I don't want to empower Republican governors to take away Medicaid, to take away health insurance for low-income and middle-income working Americans. And I think very much that's what Sen. Sanders' plan would do."

But it was not a planned line -- and signals Chelsea going rogue.

Chelsea Asks for More Foundation Cash

Chelsea Clinton announced yesterday that she and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting their second child.

Yesterday, Chelsea Clinton also asked supporters of her family foundation, the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, for money.

"You and I share a common belief – the belief that we can really do something about improving health, defeating poverty, and making gender equality a reality," Clinton's email to supporters began. "And together, we are.

Chelsea Sends Out Fundraising Pitch for Her Mom, Asks for $1

Chelsea Clinton is officially getting into the game. The former first daughter has sent out a campaign fundraising pitch on behalf of her mother's presidential campaign.

"My mom is my hero. From helping cut the uninsured rate for children in half as First Lady to later becoming the first female senator from New York and then running for president, she's kept fighting for families -- while also being a great mom," reads the pitch.

"I hope my daughter grows up to be as proud of me as I am of my mom.

The keynote speaker last year was Elon Musk, of PayPal, SpaceX, and Tesla Motors fame. Other South by Southwest keynotes in recent years have been given by a litany of cultural and business superstars including Mark Zuckerberg, Bruce Springsteen, and Twitter CEO Evan Williams. This year, though, organizers have selected Chelsea Clinton to keynote the event.
