Hayes: Romney on Bush Foreign Policy, Take Four
January 5, 2008 • By Stephen F. Hayes

Further muddling his views on George W. Bush's conduct of foreign affairs was Mitt Romney's answer to the first question in tonight's debate. Asked about the Bush Doctrine, Romney said President Bush was not arrogant, was not subject to a bunker mentality, and that we owe him a debt of gratitude for keeping us safe for the past six years.

And what about the 'our way or the highway attitude' he spoke of earlier today?

UPDATE: Mike Huckabee just used Romney's line against him.
