The BlogThe latest South Carolina poll confirms some disturbing news for Rudolph Giuliani's presidential campaign: According to pollster Charles Franklin and friends, Giuliani's trend-lines in Iowa, Michigan, and South Carolina are all downward, while his trend in New Hampshire remains steady at around 20 percent support. The one bright spot? Florida, where Giuliani's support is at about 31 percent and trending upward. Plus, according to The Hill, Giuliani has solid financial support in Florida. He has a real shot of winning the state, in other words. Which means that he can't afford to allow early-state losses to damage his Florida numbers.
