Fox News Channel is calling the Michigan primary for Mitt Romney. The final vote tallies aren't in yet, but clearly Michigan Republicans read today's New York Times and realized Romney isn't so bad after all.

Another factor: Romney's expert symbolitics, through which he convinced Michigan Republicans that he was an "optimist" who would fight for "every single job," while John McCain was a "pessimist" who was ready to abandon Michigan to globalization.

On to South Carolina ...
