Welcome to South Carolina

mitt.jpg

Team Sandtastic (which has done some amazing work) is welcoming the Republican presidential candidates to South Carolina with a series of sculptures at Myrtle Beach. The sculptures are outside the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, site of the the state's Republican presidential debate tonight.

The sculptures are extraordinary, but the likenesses leave something to be desired. For example, the picture I've posted here is the sculpture of Mitt Romney (on the right of course), who looks to me like he's in great pain--or maybe it's just meant to capture the current state of the race.
