The BlogThis is a clip from Speaker Pelosi's recent press availability. She was asked about the House Democrats' decision to hold open a recent floor vote to change its outcome: Pelosi seems to be arguing that, in her view, it's OK to hold a floor vote open to change the outcome, as long as you don't hold it open for an egregious amount of time. How long is that? Apparently 10 minutes is OK, but 3 hours is not. If they do this a few more times, we may be able to figure out the cutoff point. |
