More on Mylroie and Iraqi Terrorism

Following up on this post yesterday, a friend emails: "It's too bad that Laurie Mylroie missed the opportunity to drop her absurd defense of the Blind Sheik and pick up on the fact that the latest Iraqi documents talk explicitly about cooperation between Saddam's Mukhabarat and the Egyptian Islamic Jihad of [Ayman al] Zawihiri and Sheik Omar to kill Americans and to attack regime's like Egypt's. Instead of attacking McCarthy, Mylroie ought to be talking about Paul Pillar's dishonest dismissal of this latest evidence on the dubious claim that Egyptian Islamic Jihad was distinct from Al Qaeda at the time."
