Chicago's Cardinal Francis George has placed Fr. Pfleger on leave. The Sun-Times has the whole scoop. Choice details include:

* Pfleger was asked to take a voluntary sabbatical; he refused.

* After being placed on involuntary leave, Pfleger was asked to leave the rectory.

* Pfleger had previously gotten crossed with the archdiocese for adopting two children. Who knew priests could do that?

* Reporter Cathleen Falsani closes with this amazingly perfect detail: "Pfleger told me he plans to take his dog, Imani, whose name is an African word for 'faith,' with him."
