The Obama Salute

Why pledge allegiance to the flag when you can salute Obama?

obamasalute.jpg

Is it a 0 for no progress on energy? Is it an O for overreaching? If the reactions being deleted from the U.S. News comment section are any reflection of how the country as a whole will react, John McCain should thank the Los Angeles creative agency that came up with the Obama salute.

The thing about Hollywood is its people just don't know they hurt their cause far more than they help it when they put forward their goofy ideas about how to win a presidential election in a country they don't understand and are barely a part of. George Clooney got this in recently stating he didn't want to help Obama for fear of hurting him. Fortunately, Obama is just as clueless as Hollywood. How else to explain the fact he asked Clooney to headline a political fundraiser in Switzerland? Do they really have no idea how this will look to everyone outside their small circle of friends?
