These Rasmussen numbers show that, contrary to what you may be hearing, politics remains polarized. The two parties have vastly different views of the economy, the war, President Bush, and now Governor Palin:

"69 percent of GOP voters believe the choice [of Palin] was a good one, while nearly as many Democrats (63 percent) disagree. Unaffiliated voters are evenly divided as well."
