Enthusiasm Builds at the RNC

While Fred Thompson fired up the crowd tonight, the lovely and classy lady in red, First Lady Laura Bush, got some of the loudest applause before her speech that emphasized the many women in the Bush administration. She also noted the administration’s work for AIDs relief and got a good laugh for calling it "change you can really believe in." From my seat in section 226, a mention of Sarah Palin got the loudest cheers. Although many say this crowd doesn't compare to that in Denver, I have a feeling that the atmosphere will be electric when the Republican VP nominee takes the stage tomorrow night.
