Transition Humor

MKH links this story about a picture that recently popped up of Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau groping a cardboard cutout of our former first lady and future secretary of state Hillary Clinton. Asked to comment, the Obama transition team said that Favreau had "reached out to Senator Clinton to offer an apology." Imagine how upset Clinton would have been if he'd stopped short of that.

In response, the Clinton team told the Post:

"Senator Clinton is pleased to learn of Jon's obvious interest in the State Department, and is currently reviewing his application."

Very good. So which truce breaks first? Hillary and right, or Hillary and the Obama administration?
