Simple question: Has the Obama White House had discussion with New Hampshire Governor John Lynch (D) about a successor to Senator Judd Gregg (R) if Obama chooses Gregg as his next Commerce Secretary?

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, at his afternoon briefing: The Obama administration ""has had nothing and wants nothing to do with that going forward."

Governor Lynch, in a statement today: "I have had conversations with Senator Gregg, the White House and U.S. Senate leadership."
