Okay, Pyongyang has shot the missile, and the president's promised "appropriate steps to let North Korea know that it can't threaten the safety and security of other countries with impunity" have now been taken. What are they? The U.N. Security Council has agreed to issue a strong presidential statement condemning the launch. These severe consequences must be giving North Korea pause.
Tehran, too, has got to be worried, especially when the secretary of state says "There's nothing more important than trying to convince Iran to cease its efforts to obtain a nuclear weapon." Yes, Iran's quaking, centrifugally speaking, anyway.
