"We don't want to repeat what happened in Durban [I]" pronounced France's UN ambassador Jean Baptiste Mattéi. "It's not against the conference, but we cannot share the views expressed by Ahmadinejad. We wanted to make this clear." Too right! After all, what happened in Durban, as President Obama somewhat understatedly put it, was that "folks expressed antagonism toward Israel in ways that were oftentimes completely hypocritical and counterproductive." |
