A Is A

One of the weirder aspects of Obama worship is the insistence that he's some sort of athletic demi-god. There was the incredible report of him doing curls with 70-lb dumbbells in sets of 10. Then the talk about how he was able to hang with Div. I players on the basketball court.

And now we have the NYT swooning about last night's first pitch:

It’s almost as befuddling as the idea of one of our more athletic presidents worrying he wouldn’t get the first pitch over the plate. Barack Obama, who can nail a 3-pointer on cue for the cameras, actually stressed about this because he never played baseball as a child.

Except that Obama didn't get the pitch over the plate! Albert Pujols dug it out of the dirt in front of the plate. This is of no consequence whatsoever--throwing a strike bears no correspondence to being a good president--except as it reveals how bizarrely opposed the media is to revealing even the most insignificant flaws of this president.
