Anchor Men

Alec Baldwin attacked Jack Cafferty today with a level of invective he usually reserves for his own daughter, hitting the CNN anchor for "being convicted of leaving the scene of an accident in which you struck a cyclist and then ran two red lights while you were pursued by the police." I was unaware of that until Baldwin posted his diatribe. Of course, CNN anchor Rick Sanchez, with whom I shared a memorable moment during the campaign, also fled the scene of an accident after hitting a man (who subsequently died from his injuries). Sanchez was driving under the influence at the time.

CNN's daytime lineup (no pun intended) has always been hit or miss...
