New Haven Fireman Frank Ricci Will Testify at Sotomayor HearingGlenn Thrush has a list of the witnesses. Lt. Ben Vargas--the Hispanic fireman who was also denied a promotion because of his race--will testify as well. (Vargas claimed he was physically attacked for challenging New Haven's discriminatory policies.) Hopefully his testimony will remind Americans of the diversity of affirmative action's victims.
