AFP quotes Lashkar-e-Taiba on Swiss Minaret Ban and "Inter-Faith Harmony"

Switzerland's ban on the building of minarets, the tall towers attached to mosques, is sure to spark outrage among Muslim groups worldwide. Interestingly enough, AFP decided to skip the various U.S. Muslim-grievance groups that act as fronts and apologists for Islamist terrorist groups and went straight to the source: the Jamaat-ud-Dawa, which is a front for the Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Yahya Mujahid, a spokesman for Islamic charity Jamaat-ud-Dawa - accused of being a front for the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba radical insurgent group - also decried the referendum as a blow for inter-faith harmony.

'This new decision violates the principles of mutual understanding and religious tolerance,' Mujahid said.

'The West never takes respite in claiming to be champions of religious tolerance and inter-faith harmony, but this latest decision shows their bias against Muslims,' he added.

Perhaps AFP should have asked Jamaat-ud-Dawa/Lashkar-e-Taiba's spokesman about how the group's terror assault teams that struck in Mumbai, India were "a blow for inter-faith harmony." During the attack, the assault teams were ordered by their handlers inside Pakistan to kill Westerners, Asians, Hindus, and Jews, and to make all efforts to spare Muslims. Here is an excerpt from the phone conversations between the Pakistani handlers and the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in Mumbai:

"Everything is being recorded by the media," the handler identified as Kafa told Rehman. "Inflict the maximum damage. Keep fighting. Don't be taken alive."

"Kill all hostages, except the two Muslims," the other handler told Rehman and Fahadullah. "Keep your phone switched on so that we can hear the gunfire."

"We have three foreigners, including women," Fahadullah said. "From Singapore and China."

"Kill them," the handler said.
