National Press Club

Tuesday, April 26 from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Please join us for a discussion with the Governor of Virginia, Bob McDonnell. Byron York, Chief Political Correspondent at The Washington Examiner, will lead the discussion on state leadership and the budgetary challenges this country faces. Governor McDonnell will provide a fresh look at the country’s budgetary battle – one that reflects the local lessons learned in Virginia – and an examination of the tough choices that lie ahead.

“Conversations With...” is a new series of substantive, in-depth discussions with influential lawmakers and public figures on the most important economic issues facing the nation. The purpose of the events is to deepen the public’s understanding of the challenges and choices we face in the years ahead, to generate light instead of heat, and to hear from those responsible for implementing economic policies at the national and state levels.

We hope you can attend this in-depth conversation with one of the most important thought leaders in the country in 2011.
