Countdown to Blackout

The Cincinnati Bengals won their division and made it to the playoffs but are having difficulty selling enough tickets to this weekend's game against the San Diego Chargers to avoid a local television blackout.
As local station WCPO reports:
This blackout business is the evil spawn of a collaboration between the government (Federal Communications Commission) and an exceedingly well-connected cartel – the NFL. Which might account for the resemblance to Obamacare. First, in the definition a “sellout” as a game for which 85 percent of seating is paid for. And, then, in the arbitrary extension of deadlines. And, finally, in the haste of opportunistic politicians to jump on a bandwagon of public resentment.
What we need now is for one of them to say, If you like your home team ...
