As is well established, I have been less than impressed by the efforts of media "fact checking" organizations. Of these organizations, however, PolitiFact deserves special consideration. Most recently, they were forced to declare Obama's oft-repeated "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it" the lie of the year in the wake of Obamacare's enrollment problems. That was especially awkward, because PolitiFact had previous rated that same promise "half true" multiple times.

Well, courtesy of Phil Kerpen, here's another curious judgment from the Pulitzer prize-winning fact checker:

UPDATE: Since last night, PolitiFact has changed their rating to "stalled." It turns out that stalling is what caused this scandal in the first place, but PolitiFact, like most organizations driven primarily by ideology, is immune to irony. If 23 dead servicemen isn't enough to get PolitiFact to admit the Obama failed to keep his promise, what is?
