Primary Election Results: Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia

Appointed incumbent Senator Michael Bennet beat Andrew Romanoff in the Democratic primary 54 percent to 46 percent. In the general election, Bennet will face Republican Ken Buck, a former district attorney who was backed by Jim DeMint in his primary against Lt. Gov. Jane Norton. Buck led Norton 52 percent to 48 percent with 80 percent of precincts reporting.
The Real Clear Politics average of polls shows Buck leading Bennet by 1 percentage point.
In Connecticut, as expected, former pro-wrestling executive Linda McMahon won the Senate primary and will face Democratic Attorney General Dick Blumenthal. Meanwhile, Ned Lamont lost the Democratic gubernatorial primary.
In Georgia, the GOP gubernatorial primary is too close to call. The Palin-backed Karen Handel is trailing by a couple thousand votes:
