The latest PPP survey shows six Republican candidates with double-digit support in Iowa but no one with even 25 percent support. The poll shows Ron Paul leading with 23 percent support, followed by Mitt Romney at 20 percent, Newt Gingrich at 14 percent, and Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry, and Rick Santorum at 10 percent apiece.  When asked who their second choice would be, 15 percent of respondents said Bachmann, followed by 14 percent for Perry, 13 percent for Gingrich, 12 percent for Romney, and 9 percent each for Santorum and Paul.  So, if you combine first- and second-place votes, Romney and Paul are tied at 32 percent, followed closely by Gingrich at 27 percent, Bachmann at 25 percent, Perry at 24 percent, and Santorum at 19 percent.
