President Obama talked with Russian chief Vladimir Putin on the phone today about Edward Snowden, according to the White House. But no further details about the conversation concerning Snowden have been released.
"President Obama spoke by phone today with President Putin of Russia. The two leaders noted the importance of U.S.-Russian bilateral relations and discussed a range of security and bilateral issues, including the status of Mr. Edward Snowden and cooperation on counter-terrorism in the lead-up to the Sochi Winter Olympics," the full White House readout of the call states.
The Kremlin did not yet release details of the call.
